Is SellLink legit? What we are, what we are not, and how to check us
Wondering if SellLink is legit? Here is what SellLink is, what it is not, and simple ways to check any seller platform before you join.
Updated
It is smart to ask. A new platform asks sellers to share their business and shoppers to trust a link, and you should not do either on faith. So here is a plain answer to "is SellLink legit?", and a short checklist you can use on us or anyone else.
What we are
SellLink is a discovery platform for independent sellers. A seller creates one SellLink storefront that brings together their products, their business story and the places where they sell. Shoppers browse, learn about the business and choose where to buy.
We are a small team, and we write these posts ourselves, signed Brett and Shari. We are new, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
What we are not
SellLink is not a store checkout. When a shopper decides to buy, the purchasing link takes them to the seller's own website or marketplace listing, and the purchase happens there. We do not take payment for a seller's products, so we are not holding a shopper's money or a seller's sales.
We are also not asking sellers to leave the places they already sell. You keep selling through your own website, marketplaces and social shops. SellLink helps customers find them.
What it costs
The Storefront plan is one simple monthly price of $20 a month. It includes a SellLink storefront and Store Bio, product discovery across search and categories, product imports and bulk uploads, multiple purchasing destinations, and sharing tools and seller analytics. The plan details are on selllink.shop/sell, and the current signup flow shows what applies when you join.
How to check us
Here is what we would do before joining any platform, including ours:
- Read the pricing page and the signup flow, and make sure the price you see is the price you are asked to pay. - Look at the storefronts that are already live. See whether the products are real, the business bios are specific and the buying links go where they say. - Click a buying link yourself. It should land on the seller's own store or marketplace listing. - Start with a few products. You can import more later, so you do not have to commit your whole catalog on day one. - Read the terms before you pay, and ask us if anything is unclear.
What we cannot promise
We cannot promise a particular number of visitors or sales. SellLink helps shoppers discover your products and the places you sell, and how that turns into orders depends on your products, your photos and how you share your storefront. We would rather tell you that now than have you find out later.
Judge us by what you can see
If you would like to see what a storefront looks like, browse selllink.shop. If you are a seller, selllink.shop/sell explains how it works and what the plan includes. Check us out the way you would check anyone else, and tell us what you think. We read every message.
